In The Shanty Town Divine Holy Spirit, more specified in the House of Arts and Cultures Percília Teles da Silva, is developed the Project Pianist of Tomorrow.

On May 20th 2016 - Residents climb a piano to the Center Divine Holy Spirit: On May 30th 2016 - Beginning of the Project at Divine Holy Spirit.

The BJC (Jockey Club Brasileiro) is our partner. The Project Pianist of Tomorrow acts inside the BRAZILIAN JOCKEY CLUB SCHOOL with piano group classes for its pupils. It is Free School kept by the Brazilian Jockey Club. The pupils are in the majority sons of the workers and habitants of shanty towns in the neighborhood of the South Zone of the City of Rio de Janeiro.

On March 18th, 2016, we signed our partnership contract. Since then we work together in the benefit of many children and teenagers.
April 13th, 2016 - First day of the Project Pianist of Tomorrow. Most students live in needy communities. In 2016 The Project attended about 23 pupils between 9 and 12 years-old.   February 20th, 2017 - Our partnership contract is renewed.
In 2017 The Project attended about 18 pupils between 9 and 14 years-old. The pupils had two concerts to watch in The Concert Hall "Sala Cecília Meireles".

Our partner since march 2015. MARCELO TIENES transports and maintains our pianos. Till this moment he has been present in every special moment of our path. Thanks to him, the Project Pianist of Tomorrow has many pianos that are and will be used for our pupils. Actually we have two centers:
- Divino Espito Santo "Divine Holy Spirit", in Praça Seca (West Zone of city of Rio de Janeiro)
- Escola Jockey Club Brasileiro "Jockey Club Brazilian School" (South Zone)







The Week of France

THE WEEK OF FRANCE was an event of the Project Pianist of Tomorrow and the House of Arts and Cultures Percília Teles da Silva".
Period: July 1st till 8th
Activities: Contemporary and Street Dance, Drawing and French free classes.

Inès Kermaïdic, young french dancer, worked as volunteer during one week with 25 children and teenagers residents of the Shanty Town Divine Holy Spirit, located in the West Zone of the City of Rio de Janeiro.

Inès Kermaïdic studies at the ESAG Penninghen Ecole Supérieure d'Art Graphique et d'Architecture.

ASSOCIAÇÃO RODRIGO COURAS DE INCENTIVO A CULTURA CNPJ 27.929.936/0001-58 is a non-profit entity, founded on April 25th, 2017.
The Project Pianist of Tomorrow was created by Rodrigo Couras.
Rodrigo Couras is a carioca pianist with international experience, worried about the culture in his country: Brazil.
After nine years living in Paris, France, he went back to Brazil and created his own social project called "Projeto Pianista do Amanhã".

The Project has already attended more than one hundred children and teens since march 2015. In the Project Pianist of Tomorrow the youngs learn piano, french and english.
The goal is to prepare them to the world: foreign languages always help them in their careers.
Only 5% of the population in Brazil speaks English.
